Farmer Wants A Wife

I don't know how many of you guys have seen the new reality show, Farmer Wants a Wife, on the CW, but I have, and I thought it would make a great challenge and I've made up a set of rules for it. Basically, a group of girls compete to be the Farmer's Wife.

You'll need Sims Seasons and Sims Nightlife for this to work.

INITIAL RULES:

Step one: Make a farmer. This can be a man or woman, I've chosen man.
Step two: Give your farmer three motherlodes, and build him a house. It should have the following:
Seven beds
An orchard large enough for all the sims to work at once in it
A green house (again, large enough for all sims to work in it)
A fishing pond
NOTE: you will also need things like bookcases, chessboards, and either a pool or exercise equipment.

Step three: create seven contestant sims, and move them in one by one.

DAY ONE: MEET AND GREET

See who the Farmer is most compatible with. At the start of day 1, have your Farmer do two chats and a "Check Sim Out" with each contestant Sim. At 6 PM (or whenever your Farmer has done two chats and a "Check Sim Out" with each contestant Sim), someone must go! Here's how to figure it out.

Add each contestant's relationship score (from the Farmer's point of view) PLUS five points for each lightning bolt. The Sim with the lowest score leaves!

DAY TWO: GONE FISHING

A Farmer's wife has to be resourceful, and good in the outdoors. When the contestant Sims wake up, have them work in the garden all at once. Tell them all to Tend the orchard and the garden. If they stop tending, you can't make them go back and tend some more.

Later in the day, have all contestants go fishing, at the same time, in the pond. Again, if they walk away, you can't make them go back. Whoever has the most fish by 6 PM cannot be eliminated.

Tally the scores for Day Two like this:

Relationship score (from the Farmer's point of view) PLUS 10 points for each lightning bolt PLUS 5 points for each boot caught and 10 points for each fish caught. The person with the lowest score leaves.

DAY THREE: WHAT'S COOKIN'?

A Farmer's wife must be a good cook! In the morning, same as Day Two, have your contestant Sims tend the garden and orchard. After that, make sure that everyone's needs are at about the same level, and have each contestant Sim study Cooking. If they say they are not in the mood or won't do it, you can't make them! If they study only for a little while and then get up, you can't make them go back.

Have your Farmer do one share interests and one gossip with each Sim.

At the end of the day tally scores like this: Relationship score PLUS 5 points for each Cooking point PLUS 10 points for each lightning bolt.

NOTE: by now your Farmer might be Best Friends or have a Crush on some of your contestant Sims. Give them 10 points for a crush (only if the FARMER has a crush) and 20 points if they're Best Friends. The person with the lowest score goes home.

DAY FOUR: CLEANING OUT THE CLOSET.

A Farmer's wife has to be pretty clean. Have your remaining contestant Sims study cleaning. Same as the cooking challenge. In the afternoon, have the Farmer form a casual group with all the remaining Sims and go on a group date (it must be somewhere where they can eat a meal together).

At the end of the day, tally the points: Relationship PLUS 5 points for each Cooking Point PLUS 10 points for a crush, 20 points for Best Friends, and 10 points per lightning bolt.

DAY FIVE: FINAL THREE

A Farmer's wife has to be SMART: Have all contestant Sims sit down at their own chessboard, until 6 PM or until they all get up and leave. Get everyone's needs level up to about the same place and have them all go out for a group date--dancing!

When they get home, tally the points: Relationship PLUS 5 points for each Logic Point PLUS 10 points for a crush, 20 points for Best Friends, and 10 points per lightning bolt. If your Farmer Sim is in love with any contestant Sim, they get 50 extra points.

DAY SIX: FINAL ELIMINATION

Your Sim will go on a Private Date/Outing with each of the two remaining contestant Sims. It's imperative that both contestant Sims do not go at once, or else you'll have a lot of angry Sims on your hands.

On the date attempt flirting and kissing. A kiss is 30 points, and a makeout is 50. A woohoo is 100. If your Sim rejects any of these, you will subtract 10 points from the final score.

Final scoring goes like this.

Farmer's Relationship score PLUS Contestant's relationship score
Then add up all the points your contestant Sim has gleaned: 10 points per point
Then give 10 points for each lightning bolt.
10 points for a crush
20 points for Best Friends
50 points for in Love

Then add the score for the Final Date: kisses, flirts, woohoos.
Whoever has the highest wins, and gets the Farmer, his house, the money, etc.

Hi there! We haven't offically met. I'm the hostess of this series. And yes I know I'm blue. It runs in the family. I'm the hostess because, well because that's my brother these women are fighting over so I want to make sure he gets treated right! He certainly has been through a lot with that ex-beotch of his. That's right I said it! Oh sorry, I'm getting off track. Anyway, I'm Cillia Bacter and I'll be your host for season 1 of Farmer Wants a Wife!

In this mini-episode we are going to meet the seven women--sorry what's that? Minionettes? What is a Minionette? Why can't I ask questions? I don't care how evil this Overlord is this is my brother we are talking about! Great! Its raining. What she made it rain? Ok, I'm done asking questions.

Okay let's meet the seven minionettes!!

First we have Lisa Atticus.

Hi, I'm Lisa. I'm mostly interested in learning new things but having a family is very important to me as well. I'm a Libra so I'm pretty outgoing so I like to think I'm easy to get along with and I think I can show the farmer how much fun I can be. I'm turned on by red hair and unemployed men but not men who are fat and lazy.

Next up is Keth Wyn

I'm Keth, I really like learning but I also know how to have a good time. I am a Capricorn and I know I can show the farmer what fun is really about! I think my fun nature is what makes me the best one suited for the farmer. I'm turned on my facial hair and brown hair and I don't like it when my men wear hats.

Our third Minionette, whatever that is, is Aeronwy Diobhell.

Hi I'm Aeronwy but Farmer Cell can call me Aer for short. I'm all for learning and having fun. Or maybe I like to have fun while I learn. Hmm, something like that. Anyway, I'm an Aries and I think I'm pretty outgoing. I don't think I've ever been called shy. I like men who are fit and have black hair so I think Farmer Cell will be right up my alley. But I don't want him to stink. Blech!

Minionette number four is: Sariana Starshine Marquette, whew what a mouthful.

Hi! I'm Sariana Starshine Marquette and while I am the true love of Burke Marquette, I think I'd make the farmer pretty happy too. I guess I'm a little bit of a romantic but I really do want to have a family too! I just can't decide on which man I want to have a family with! I mean who can blame me? Burke? Cell? There are so many! But I am an Aquarius and I'm turned on by men who wear cologne and who know how to cook. If you wear full-face make up stay away from me!

::eyes Sariana suspiciously:: Minionette number five is Christina DeLuca.

Hello, I'm Christina. I'm a little nervous about this whole thing. Like most of the other girls, I really like learning and I also want to have a family. I'm a Taurus so I think I can handle it being bull-headed and all ::giggles:: Anyway, I like fit men who are able to fix anything. But not zombies. Zombies freak me out.

I'm Angelia Gamer and I'm definitely into all sorts of learning. I love my video games, TS2 FTW! But I also find myself to be a bit of a hopeless romantic. Who can blame me? I'm a Taurus as well and I think my playful nature will lead me to be a great wife for Farmer Cell. I love it when my men walk around in their undies and aren't afraid to wear a little bit of jewelry and I'm with Christina about zombies ::shudders::

What is the deal with the zombies??? Okay our last Minionette, and I swear if she says anything about zombies I'm kicking her out right now, is Heather Simaholic.

Hi, I'm Heather. I suppose I kind of go along with the flow with being a person who enjoys learning. I don't think I want to be a lifelong student but learning new stuff is cool. I also want a family. That is really important to me. That's why I think I'd be a good wife for the farmer. I'm a Taurus and I must confess I'm quite stubborn at times. As far as what turns me on, a man who is in shape and has a logical brain. You want to turn me off in a hurry, smell bad.

Welcome back! Now that you've all had a chance to take a look at the farm its time to meet the man our lucky ladies will be competing to call their own! So let's me our very own Farmer in the Cell!

Erm, excuse me.

Oh sorry. Our farmer, Cell Bacter!

Um, Cell do you think you could clean up a little bit. You know just for this intro. First impressions make all the difference you know.

Uh, sure.

Cell had a rough go of things back in his home town. But I can let him tell you about himself. Ah, good he's back.

How's this?

Oh that's nice. Very nice. ::stares for a moment and then wipes chin:: Right. So Cell, why don't you tell us a bit about yourself.

Are you going to tell me why I'm here?

Oh! Right! That! Well, we are here to find you a wife.

::silence::

A wife?

Yes. A wife. Let's face it you haven't had the best of luck on the romance end of things so we are helping you out. So you'll have 7 women to choose from.

Seven? Wow. Well then, hello ladies.

They aren't here yet.

What? Why not?

Because we are supposed to be getting to know you!

Oh right, me. Gotcha.

Well I guess I can say that I used to be married and I used to be a police officer. But I had to do something I regretted with my job and well it led to a big mess so really I'm trying to start over.

Casting Call

Are you searching for the man of your dreams? Running out of places to look? Well search no further! Send in your auditions to SOX and play a part in our newest reality show...FARMER WANTS A WIFE!!!

I'm your host SGT Heather and I'll be showing you around the farm YOU could help run! So let's begin!

Lets get started by taking a look at the farm. The farm is naturally on a large plot of land and is complete with farmhouse, orchard, pond and greenhouse.

Here we can see a nice view of the orchard. The orchard is very extensive containing three varieties of fruit trees: apple, lemon and orange. You'll have to forgive the condition of the trees as the photo was taken in the winter when the trees lay dormant. You will also note a sizable fishing pond located behind the orchard. The pond is well stocked with several species of fish.

Continuing along with the tour of the exterior we have the greenhouse and pool. The greenhouse is spacious and has room for growing multiple varieties of crop. Again you can see the fishing pond, located next to the greenhouse.

Ah! This is a nice shot of the pool and patio area. A farmer's life isn't all work and our farmer has a pool near the greenhouse to relax at after a hard day's work.

Now, moving to the interior of the farmhouse we have to the right as you enter the front door, the kitchen. The kitchen is spacious and provides a great opportunity for the farmer's new wife to cook all sorts of delectable dishes.

Off the back of the kitchen is a dining area with a table large enough to seat eight for that large family our farmer hopes for to help work the farm.

Across the way from the kitchen and to the left of the front door is an area arranged with chess tables. One might think being a farmer's wife means you can get away without intellect but not so with our farmer!

And don't forget the bookshelves!

Coming to the close of our little tour is the bedrooms for our potential wives. Both a decorated with a country feel to help the women adjust to farm life a little easier. Simple yet comfortable.

And finally we wrap up our tour with the master bedroom. The place all the ladies want to sleep in at the end. It shows that our farmer while simple maintains an air of sophistication.
